I couldn't choose so here is part 2.

Another set of good images 8)
- Burrowing owl portrait: nice, but I think I'd prefer the owl looking straight at me, this would probably make the image feel more balanced too.
- Burrowing owl taking off: Great action. Pity of course about the background, but that can't be helped here. To improve the composition slightly, I think you could shave off a bit more from the left.
- Kestrel preying: Good! Just crop the top-left (and perhaps add to the bottom right) and you'll have the image focus completely on the bird!
- Haris's Hawk: Nice: Perhaps the only thing that would make it even better is to have some more room on the bottom-left.
As I wrote before: all my comments are my personal opinion, so please feel free (nay: encouraged) to disagree!

I will try to play a bit with the framing for the bottom three photos.
The portrait, for some reason it really appeals to me even though the bird is not looking into the lens. I can't really explain why.

Hmm, now I had a second and third look at it, I can see why you say that; it is funky in an sort of appealing way…
