Birds of Prey / April 2017: Hayo's photos
« on: 06/08/2017, 17:23:41 »
With quite a delay (I still have a huge backlog of images to process…), here is a selection of the images I took during the April workshop.

Enjoy!

« on: 30/07/2017, 15:42:07 »
I finally made some time to finish processing my 2017 workshop images (still a couple of thousand left...). But here at least is a selection from the Industrial Heritage workshop from June.

Can you guess which ones are HDR processed and which aren't?

Enjoy!

Bavarian Forest / Bavarian Forest June 2016 (Hayo's images)
« on: 06/01/2017, 11:42:45 »
Since the bear cubs didn't really show themselves on our workshop visit in May, we decided to visit them once again in June.

Because it was quite hot outside, the bears spent a lot of time hidden away inside their cave where it was cooler. A couple of times a day they would all come out to play though so waiting patiently all day always paid off in the end!

Here are some of the pictures I took myself.

Enjoy,

With a group of photography enthusiasts we visited the Liège-Guillemins railway station in August (thank you, Carlo, for the suggestion!). The architect of the station is none other than Santiago Calatrava (yes, the one from Valencia) so one can expect grand architecture with beautiful forms. Here a a couple of the images I took.

Enjoy!

Thanks to a great group of people and very nice weather, this year's Helgoland tour was again quite successful! As always, there was lots of action going on and we were able to make a lot, and varied, shots. Heck, even the sunset shots I initially thought I would throw away, turned out OK :)

Here are some of my shots.

Enjoy!

Bavarian Forest / Bavarian Forest May 2016 (Hayo's Images)
« on: 11/06/2016, 17:50:20 »
The Bavarian forest is always a great place to be, so too this May (even with the weather not as good as it usually is). I had hoped to see some young Wild Cat kittens (mother was definitely pregnant when we saw her in February) and perhaps some young Owls too. What I didn't anticipate was to see the bears with cubs again, that was a pleasant surprise! Pity they didn't show themselves at photogenic locations. The result is that I decided to go to the Bavarian Forest for the third time this year; we will be there from 17 till 25 June. Hopefully this time the bear cubs are playing nice :)

Below are some of the images I took during our May stay.

Birds of Prey / Hayo's photos of the 05-09-2015 workshop
« on: 15/09/2015, 10:50:19 »
Hi all,

Again a great workshop  and even though we had some rain, overall we had great weather, we even got some blue sky and sun!
Richard already posted some of his great images here and I am very much looking forward to seeing some of the other's too.

I took some images myself too, here are a couple:

Het was weer een geslaagde workshop met een leuke en enthousiaste groep deelnemers de 28e 8)

Ik ben erg benieuwd naar ieders beelden; van wat ik tijdens de workshop van ieders werk heb gezien zaten er zeker een paar hele mooie bij!

Ter inspiratie hier alvast een paar van mijn eigen beelden.

Bavarian Forest / Bavaria Winter 2015 (Hayo's images)
« on: 08/03/2015, 12:17:11 »
Hi all,

Here are a couple of the images I took myself during our (extended :)) stay in Bavaria. Weather was quite good and we had quite some snow (on my last day it snowed heavily all day, covering everything in a thick layer of fresh snow 8)). I also shot a couple of short videos to give a sample of what can been seen (and heard…)

The videos can be found on YouTube:

Industrial Heritage / Dortmund 2014 Hayo's images
« on: 26/10/2014, 10:40:32 »
Hallo allemaal,

Feedback is natuurlijk welkom!
