Visit to the the Liège-Guillemins railway station

(1/1)

Hayo Baan:
With a group of photography enthusiasts we visited the Liège-Guillemins railway station in August (thank you, Carlo, for the suggestion!). The architect of the station is none other than Santiago Calatrava (yes, the one from Valencia) so one can expect grand architecture with beautiful forms. Here a a couple of the images I took.

Enjoy!

Rob de Jonge:
Hello Hayo,

I love that trainstation and I love the architecture of Calatrava. Very nice pictures, especially from the trainplatform. I didn't visit the platforms.
I understand your remark about my photo's.  Your seasoning to taste is much lighter then mine.
The photo's that I did sent you are too big for your site. I will export them again smaller and put them on your forum.

Rob

Hello Hayo and Rob,
I very much like your pictures. It is also interesting to see that finally the chosen topics do differ quite a lot.
Rob's picture associating the station and the memorial at the Cointe and Hayo's overview of the station give a nice overview of the station and the surroundings.
Carlo
