Rob's photos 3e round
« on: 28/04/2013, 14:26:58 »
Hello,

My final round.
This time it was hard to find a photo with a good reflection in the water.  I got one of the hawk.
I have a couple photos of a slow flying Alaskan eagle, but the are dull.  This one has more action, but the background is a bit disturbing.

Hi Rob,

Nice ones again!

  • Hawk reflection: Reflection is quite nice and the image looks quite focussed too! Pity the water isn't perfectly still and that the background visible in the reflection is a bit complex, diluting the effect a bit. The pose of the hawk, however, lets you clone out the strap and transmitter quite easily, I think.
  • Homer in flight: Sure, the background is quite visible. I think it's not overly distracting though. Again the strap and transmitter should be clone-able
  • Haris's hawk landing: good shot. To make it better, I'd darken the bright lines in the background
  • Kestrel: Good and well focussed preying shot! Remove the strap and transmitter and it's even better. Perhaps brighten the image a tad too.

Thanks for sharing!
